WHO WE ARE
Match/Cut Productions is a film and commercial production company, based in Omaha, Nebraska. We produce feature films, episodic series, branded content, and commercial videos. Our mission is to tell great stories that engage, inspire, entertain and move people to action. In addition to our core production team in the Midwest, we have a deep network of crew in LA, New York, and around the world.

FOUNDER
ERIC GAUTSCHI
Eric is a nationally recognized director and writer of TV commercials and branded content. He has produced several documentary and scripted films and is co-creator of a docuseries about the origins of global women's soccer. Eric is also co-founder of the Hustle Entrepreneurship Conference. Previously, he spent many years as an ad agency creative director in Chicago and Omaha, with clients including Kraft, Microsoft and Motorola, and received an MA in Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was awarded the prestigious Park Fellowship.


FOUNDER
An internationally acclaimed, award-winning filmmaker, Nik was nominated for a Spirit Award for his first directorial feature, Lovely, Still (starring Martin Landau, Ellen Burstyn, Adam Scott and Elizabeth Banks). For his follow-up film, Sick Birds Die Easy, Fackler won Best Picture at the Poland International Film Festival. Throughout the past 15 years, he has produced and directed over 20 music videos for various artists including Sia, Bright Eyes, The Faint, and his own band, Icky Blossoms. He has directed, produced, and edited branded content, social media campaigns, and national TV commercials for numerous commercial and nonprofit clients.
